Back in Dec. It has a HUGE backyard, and that means there is alot of fencing surrounding the yards.( we have 3 nieghbors connected with the fence) It is in pretty bad shape, both nieghbors to the back and left have children and dogs that love to rip the planks out to get to our dog. Causing holes everywhere. I know being a homeowner it is part my responsibility, but isn;t there another way, since the problem was there way before we moved in? So I guess I'm asking, shouldn't the other nieghbors pay for most? I think goin in on halfs is fine. I just thought there might be another solution. Any suggestions will be great . Thanks in advance.

I think the best approach is to not get litigious and follow the good neighbor policy of paying for half. Even if they were responsible for the majority of the damage the goodwill outweighs the money.

I think your best choice is to call a fencing company and get a bid on how much it would cost for a new fence. Ask him if he could find the property pins for you. Every residential lot has them ,he may find them for you, he may not depending on how energetic he is. If he wont you may need to call your local city hall to have surveyors come out and find the lot pins then you should be able to identify if the fence is even on your lawn. If it isnt there isnt much you can do about it except put your own fence up to cover up there ugly fence...hope this helps...good luck!
