Super Glue and others come up short on some plastics and wondered if the Gorilla Glue is as good as they say?
Also, Super Glue is based on Acetone and any hardware will well pure Acetone and takes some rubbing but it will remove Super glue. The Problem I have with Super Glue is it drys out between usages so seems am always buying a new tube when ever I need it. Does Gorilla Glue keep for a long time? |

Gorilla Glue is awesome... It expands to fill in gaps so use sparingly and put newspaper or something to catch drips...We used it to repair and broken bunkbed frame and it's really, really STRONG.. We didn't even need to clamp it or anything.. It just expanded like foam when it dried!
Yes the glue keeps longer than super glue |

Gorilla glue uses moisture to cure so after it is opened you will need to keep all moisture from the bottle.
Originally it was sold in larger containers but because it is very difficult to keep air tight once it is opened, they now sell much smaller bottles so less is wasted if you don't use it all at first. Gorilla glue works best on surfaces that are porous like wood, it doesn't do as well on smooth surfaces such as metal or plastic. |
